Dad's next boat

Under construction (the page too)
Boat is a bluejacket 25.5, stretched to 26’ because that’s how long the plywood was.

The following is the composting head install.  Some detail on the theory (and practice?) here:

Table is mounted and very stable.  Leg has two bolts with wing nuts.  One under the false floor and one against a rib under the table.  No wobble and easy to dismantle to convert to a 6'-3" berth, which will probably never happen.  I won't have cushions for the table top so may try to find an inflatable mattress for the whole berth.  Or not.
The false floor is because I decided to raise the seats for a better view out the windows.  May be able to stick extra pfd's in the space.  Always a pita on my other boats.
I'm working on a sort of long narrow tray that will fit on the table against the hull, under the side deck.  It will key into, and cover, the gap between the hull and table and can be lifted out when converting to a berth.

Head cabinetry is finished except for a door, and drains & vent are completed.
Note the rare earth magnet door latch for the small door.

Small shelf under the port side side deck.  This has a wiring terminal block (covered) and the FM radio.  I see I have to tuck up some wires.
The cabinet under the shelf is where the hinged navigator seat is to be mounted, and has 5 drawers and a pullout counter extension.

Some detail pics.  Trays under the side deck.
